It's autumn in the city - our favourite time of year.   The days are cooling, but the colours of the season light up the city and the crisp clean air is a delight.

Football is in the air!  Our own Tassie Hawks are playing in Launceston on May 17 and May 31.  To join the excitement, city store windows are showing their Hakws colours.  Vote for your favourite window - you could win a limited edition signed Hawks team print and 2 reserve seat tickets to the Bulldogs vs Hawks game at Aurora Stadium on May 31.

The Brisbane Street Mall is the oldest shopping mall in Australia and we believe it is still the best!  It's magnificent open space houses major national retail chains and department stores, to the most unique local fashion and art boutiques.

No wonder Launceston is the fastest growing city in the state- we are no longer Australia's best kept secret!   The secret is out...there's no better place.
