Don't forget FREE city parking everyday from 3:30 -5:30pm in the Paterson Street multi-storey car parks.  Or use the FREE Tiger Bus for hassle free shopping.

Launceston is home to many attractions...wineries, mazes, antique stores, berry farms, apple orchards, an iconic brewery, lavender farms, alfresco cafes.

As Australia's third oldest city, Launceston has a rich history. Walk around our beautiful city and see fabulously restored heritage buildings and visit the stunning museums.  The Brisbane Street Mall is the oldest shopping mall in Australia and we believe it is still the best!  It's magnificent open spaces house major national retail chains and department stores through to unique local fashion and art boutiques.

There is an abundance of activities - river, gorge & lookout walks, hiking, tree-top adventures, cable hang-gliding, kayaking, ghost tours, road & mountain biking, tennis, golf, bowls and photography.

No wonder Launceston is the fastest growing city in the state- we are no longer Australia's best-kept secret!
